So I read that running a ship with both bb8 and PTL let's me get 3 actions a turn, maybe I'm not following here or misreading something in the rules but can someone explain how this is possible?

Execute a green maneuver lets BB-8 take a barrel roll as a free action. You push off that action and earn a stress. The green maneuver clears the stress. Unlike advanced sensors, BB-8 doesn't replace your post-move action, so you can get a third action in.

More correctly, in that you do not execute the green maneuver to trigger BB-8, just reveal it.

Reveal green maneuver
>> Trigger BB-8 for free barrel roll action
>> Trigger Push the Limit off the BR
>> Take resulting action from PtL

>> Receive stress token from PtL
Execute green maneuver
Check Pilot stress - maneuver = green, so remove 1 stress token
Take normal action for the phase (but you cannot duplicate another action you have already performed in the round)

Also, do not forget Push the Limit says "once per round."

So you can't get 4 actions out of it
