i have been playing around with the idea of running a bomber and Punisher.

One question. Cluster missiles lets me get 2 attacks each time i use it. Can i use Jonus ability for each attack?
To answer your question, yes Jonus' ability would give rerolls each attack but the thing is it doesn't work on himself so if you're looking at running a missile punisher, then you've got the wrong one in the list. Redline is the punisher you're looking for. Take fire control system and with the target locks you get from each attack, you will be able to reroll any of your dice for both cluster missile attacks without Jonus.

That Redline build looks pretty solid (although I'd switch out Autothrusters for Guidance Chips once they're available).
Both the Shuttle and Scimitar builds look a little heavy. I'd trim out the Engine Upgrades from both ships (as it requires an action they're likely to want to use to Fleet Officer or Target Lock respectively), drop the Autothrusters from Redline, and have enough points for a Academy Pilot. An extra ship to act as a blocker is no bad thing.

Just put on the AT because i had the extra points, but an extra ship sounds good.
