I flew this casually the other night and it was interesting to say the least. First game was against a VI whisper, Royal Guard Interceptor with PTL, and redline full of ordinance.

2 attack dice, +1 from situational Pilot Skill, +1 From Expose, +1 From Opportunist, +1 for Range 1= a Possible 6 attack dice with Scourge or Mauler + a Reroll.
I set up in middle, but angled to the right in formation. He set up off to the left corner. 1st (or 2nd) turn I think I 1 turned left to face him. I saw that it may be possible to have a shot after he moves...so i exposed on my ships. I took the chance because i new i needed to kill whisper asap. By chance he 3 banked with whisper and evaded. Whisper shot and hit Youngster i think it was for 1 damage. Got a focus token and stealth... So i attacked back with everything. Howlrunner had 3 dice but missed but took a token, Scourge had 3 dice and missed but he used a token, Mauler Mithel had 3 dice and hit!, Backstabber had 3 dice and Hit!, AND youngster had 3 dice and killed Whisper! We were both stunned. He was rolling 5 Greens and had tokens. (shots were either range 3 or 2 through a rock depending) He actually came back after that, but i ended up winning with only 1 HP on howlrunner.
