So just wondering what people's thoughts are on this. Maybe I'm the only one but 1st the rules require ships to stay firmly on bases at all times... Ok makes sense. Now the ships stay connected pretty good when new except for the outrider/deci debacle. However after use a few times the pegs and connectors loosen up and every other turn a ship is popping of the stand or the peg. So my take on this is a.) take out the rule about ships maintaining firmness on the base (not a fan of that idea but makes sense to me if the models don't stay connected after only a few uses)
b.) come up with a better design for connecting ships
Or c.) allow modifications that enhance stability of ships on bases aka magnets
So what do you guys think, do any of you have issues with ships loosening up after a few uses of unplugging and plugging things in? For me I start noticing definite looseness after about 8-9 times playing. By that I mean playing in tourney, decoupling everything and stowing ( 1st time). Going to another tourney or friends house and recoupling everything, then decoupling again at the end ( 2nd time).
Also I do know I can order more pegs and stands or trying to replace the connectors on ships but really?! I mean I shouldn't have to do that after only a few uses. Honestly ffg does a good job with these models and I love the game I'm just putting some constructive criticism out there in hopes that it will help an already great game. Again I could be the only one here with this complaint but I'm hoping I'm not haha.
