Our Gaming Group

By Burleaf, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I started a group at my FLGS Pegasus Games about two years ago. It started out small with just a couple of players and the group has grown amazingly well. The past six months or so we have been running two tables a session and I think soon we will be moving up to three tables.
What's great is that everyone plays characters that are part of the same crew in my universe they and move between tables depending on the adventure they want to play in that day. I also always start and end the two tables together, but each table has a different adventure they go on.
It seems a little crazy sometimes, but it has been a hell of a lot of fun. I love this system and hope to continue running it for a long time to come. I guess I just wanted to share and maybe brag a tiny bit because I am pretty **** proud of the group of people we have.
Below is a picture of a good portion of our players. We are short a few regulars but this is pretty much the turnout we get.
So anyone else have a great group they want to brag about? If so, post them up I would love to see them!

Wow. That’s a lot of players. I’m in awe.

You should be proud! That's awesome! Have you ever done a linked adventure that spanned both tables? Here's one that I wrote for a party split into two teams:

The Quarantine Quandary

Yep, they are all on the same crew and work together on things all the time. Either fighting in the same space battles or hitting different objectives in the same adventure.

Good looking bunch. I like how broad the generation gap is.

Wow, Ive gamed for 40 years and never had more than a couple buddies available to join me. That's really awesome.

Very nice! How does the GMing and adventure creation work in your setup?

Since we have such a large group with players that rotate in and out on a regular basis I try to keep each adventure a one shot run so folks can move in and out of the game easily. For each session I put together two adventures with usually around 2 to 3 major scenes that can be played through in about 3 to 4 hours. I do have a pool of NPCs that the characters work with so there are some over-arching story lines, but I try to keep it simple and loose. Myself and one other person usually GMs with a couple of the other players stepping up to run a game if need be.
