Challenge tokens

I am not sure if this has been answered, or addressed before but I did a quick search and nothing came up unfortunately. I am now reaching out to the community for the answer.

Simple question really.

What are people doing who own both "Lair of the wyrm" and "The trollfens" with two sets of challenge tokens? Do you use both sets and let the heroes have more opportunity to receive more treasure/fight more monsters?

I mix them together. I have a bag where the OL pulls some random tokens from. And by just having one set, it can be possible to have exclusively attribute tests, or exclusively monsters. So it doesn't influence a lot, maybe a lucky Grisbane will have two strength tests, or maybe two awareness. Or maybe he will fail the two strength tests. And the diversity in monsters beats any statistical flaw in this approach I think.

Yes, when you select an expansion to play with, you add all its components to the supply. This also counts for challenge tokens.

So you use both from LotW and Trollfens
