I just got back into the game full force after a few months break, and I now find myself constantly thinking about squads, ships, upgrades, strategies, and cool laser noises throughout the day.

This happen to anybody else, or am I going nuts.....

Me too. Its unavoidable.

My seven year old son has been addicted to it since October last year. The first thing he mentions in the morning are his latest ideas for squad builds, and the last thing he mentions at night, before the lights go off, are his ideas for new synergy and tactics.....

Trouble is, he's got me addicted too..

But in all seriousness, daily. I think of squads and combinations and other ideas daily. Helps me get through boring days at work, though, so there's that.

Quite a bit, actually. Especially with SC drawing near.

Beyond that, in my head I tend to hear the scream of TIE engines as I get on the expressway... and the sound of blaster bolts when some idiot truck in front of me makes three unsignaled lane changes...

All the time, just like everything else that I love.

Constantly, my existence, particularly outside of riding season, is miserable and x wing provides a lovely distraction from it.

Everytime my wife starts talking

My work is so routine I need to think about X-Wing just so I'm thinking about something at work.

Since I'm not playing it, I've been ignoring it.

Bad news is I still have **** to paint, and just got into DS2 finally.

Every day. Some days for most of the day because I listen to podcasts while at work. When I run out of new episodes I will round up a new podcast or relisten to past casts.

I may have a problem....

Every time i should be thinking about something 'more important'...

Recently being unemployed it's even worse for me now. It's my brand new plasticrack.

Especially when I should learn for exams the draw is incredible. Yet another Squadbuilder is my favourite timewaster on the entire internet, I have so many squads saved that I will never live long enough to play all of them.

Just signed up for my first store event, so constantly thinking about what I could play and which expansions I might want in order to get certain ships/upgrades. The X Wing thought cycle is endless!

Thank goodness this wasn't around when I was in college! That new Magic game was bad enough back then (and if I hadn't been trying to get Ken Griffey Jr. rookie cards I would have had some really cool alpha and beta cards... it was a tough decision that day).

Let's just say I think about X-Wing as much as I used to think about girls... At least if I have it pulled up on a computer or my phone and someone walks up, I can show them what I'm looking at regardless of whether it is my mother, my brother, any stranger, my wife or my boss... well, not really my boss.. he wouldn't understand.
