Please review for fun.

Not sure how good a list this would be, one of my rules for Empire is to bring at least 4 ships. So, this breaks it, but dang it might drive my opponent crazy as I lure them to follow Deathrain and counter with Conner Net and set them up for the Vader Redline combo if they get caught in the net.

Well, thats the plan anyway.

PUNISHER RAMPAGE

99 points

PILOTS

“Redline” (34)
TIE Punisher (27), Extra Munitions (2), Homing Missiles (5)

“Deathrain” (33)
TIE Punisher (26), Enhanced Scopes (1), Extra Munitions (2), Conner Net (4)

Darth Vader (32)
TIE Advanced (29), TIE/x1 (0), Swarm Tactics (2), Advanced Targeting Computer (5)

Redline really needs FCS. You aren't really taking advantage of his ability without it.

Deathrain also prefers advanced sensors (its better than enhanced scopes but requires a bit more thought to use it, but doesn't force you to move first----bad against other low PS ships)

Also, swarm tactics is a bit of a waste here---bumping Redline's shot from PS7 to 9 is not very meaningful most of the time. Vader would much prefer predator to up his own damage or Veteran instincts to shoot before everyone (or even crack shot to sneak a crit through defenses)

I fly Redline a lot and I totally agree, Redline needs his FCS. Also, you don't need to use homing missiles with Redline because his ability lets you have two target locks so you always will have a target lock to spend on ordinance, even one that has you discard a target lock. Unless you want homing missiles no evade token ability, plasma torpedoes are cheaper and just as good, as well as cluster missiles. Redline with cluster missiles is nasty

Looks like fun. I don't think FCS is super critical in your build. I do agree about your choice of ordnance, Homing Missile on Red doesn't help much. For the same price you could go Flechette Torpedo and Ion Pulse Missile.

For Deathrain I think no system upgrade and use proximity mine and seismic charges to keep him at the same points cost. Just gives you more bombs to toss, and since the Punishers are pretty tough you'll probably get to drop em all too.

You could swap Vader's ept to the three point range, but i like what it looks like you have him set up to do. Try it out! I just find two shots isn't enough on the Punishers!
