Joking, or? The extra-dice-pack is least value for money. It's about 50-75% of the price for a small ship.
Quite often one sees core-packs at reduced price. When you need more dice, buy one of these when on offer as you get:

What you do not need of that pack you can trade away, or paint up as variants.
