I know that the Ghost isn't out and most do not have any experience with it, but I am stuck between wanting a Decimator now or wait for a Ghost.

Any advice on which you like more?

Ghost comes with 2 ships, and Decimator isn't very high in the metagame at the moment.

Sure but, it's not because the Decimator is bad. You just need the other 40% of your list to be really good against TLTs, if you're playing in a competitive environment.

That said, I think the Ghost expansion looks sweeeeet, so I'd lean there. But I have a Deci already, so it's hard to tell how I'd feel if I didn't

I don't have either of those yet, and I still don't have a YT-2400 or a gozanti, which means im not getting any of those till I get a gozanti.

But, right now my starting collection for large ships includes the Millennium Falcon (Rebels) and the Slave 1 (best used as Scum). If it wasn't the Ghost, I'd be getting the Decimator to round out my collection with 1 large based ship for each faction.

Get the Lambda before the Decimator.

It all comes down to personal preference really....

A nice little experiment is to write "Ghost" on one piece of paper, "Decimator" on the other.

Place them in a bag and pull one out with the expectation that you will buy what you pull...

If you are ok with the result go with it, it you feel regret and wish you had pulled the other, go with that feeling

Decimator it's got a turret and you can bump that up to 4 attack for 7 points if you want.

So many of the upgrades that ship with it are top-tier, and it's a bloody fun ship to fly to boot.

It's a cheap weapons platform, and comes packaged with some nigh essential upgrades; the Rebel Captive, Advanced Sensors and a Sensor Jammer.

Ghost hits harder and twice per turn. Not something to sneeze at

Ghost is quite a bit more dynamic. More options. More play styles.

I like the Empire a lot, but I always seem to play rebels because everyone else wants to play Empire. I own a Slave One, but no other Scum & Villainy.

I have the Lambda and I have used it often. The Ghost is all about the shiny new stuff and the ship looks good. The Decimator is a known and I plan on modifying it's look and paint job.

So card support seems to be good for both.

Buy both.
