So um is it possible to use a blaster pistol or a rifle as a melee weapon? like hitting someone with the butt of the rifle?
New questions....(yay)
Sure. They normally count as improvised Melee weapons. (I'm sure there's a table for small, medium and large improvised weapons in the core books, or the GM screens at least.)

I'm actually laughing at the idea of several Stormtroopers exchanging horror stories about the legendary Runciple Ravager...

I'm sure at least one person remembers this madness....Crushing it with that electric spork!

That game is supposed to be super rare now, isn't it?

Ill take your word on it. I've still got a copy of it sitting in a box at my parents' house next to the old PC. In there with Math Blaster, Creative Writer, Stellar 7, King's Quest, Sim City 2000. So many classics! I tried to get Chex Quest running on my PC, but the graphics were all wonky and gave me a headache to look at. Shame really, I remember thinking it was a really good game.

Did someone say cooking knives?
You 'may' damage the weapons doing it though.
That's what Despairs are for... or enough Threat.

All the more reason to use kitchen utensils, if you ask me...

Worked well for Tika in Dragonlance.

Hmm I try to look for the creative killer thing but couldn't find it .-. is it in the edge of the empire core rule book?

Ahaha! She was my first 'gaming crush' if you must know!
Dragonlance was pretty much my first real stint as a GM, the first time I saw the potential of D&D as a sweeping, romantic epic, and my first GMPC. I think I dated everyone at some point during that campaign!
Actually, the 'killing stormtroopers with a spork' thing comes from an AOR session where I went through Basic Training with the least-likely PC imaginable. To this day, she brags about how she could kill a stormtrooper with a spork if she really had to.

found it thanks! C:
You should also buy the book, of course. It's a beautiful book, packed with great art and buying it helps support FFG and my favourite RPG!
Disclaimer: I own all the books myself as do at least three of my gaming group... But Begging for XP is a great resource.
