Need critique for my Defender love!

Hi everyone,

I am newish to the game and would like some input as to why this list could suck. Somethings on paper suck hard on the play mat.. I am looking at you Phantom rolling 4 defence dice coming up blanks...

Also this could have been done a thousand times I have no idea.

Rexlar Brath - 42

The point of the list is for Brath to hit them with the beam to reduce the agility, pushing them onto an asteroid would be a bonus. After that the TIE swarm unleashes, hopefully getting a few hits. I put Wampa in there as the ability and PS boost is great for only 2 points. Saying that, the ability is jam, not to be relied on. Also Wampa gives something else for the enemy to target instead of the auto kill Howlrunner mentality. I toyed with Ruthlessness and Predator on Brath, but if it got close to endgame the TIEs that are left couldnt get too close as they would possibly suffer 2 hits a turn from Braths double tap, and I could get a version of predator with PTL by locking and focusing, the stress would be easily cleared with the multiple greens on the dial with engine MK II.

Any feedback would be great.

It looks to be a fine "Ace and mini swarm" list

My only critique would be to add predator instead of PTL. You could use predator on both tractor beam and primary attacks, giving you two quasy target locked shots, and have your focus normal action for further modifications.

Well, it hasn't been 'done a thousand times' yet, because Imperial Vets isn't even out yet.

But I agree with Mezegis: predator is great when you can shoot more than once. Except on Vessery if you can enable his ability.

Yeah, Vessery with VI is generally considered better than Brath if you have other ways of target locking. This list doesn't, so Brath with Pred is likely the way to go.
