Are countries other than Australia not getting their SC kits?

I'm not sure of whether anywhere else is affected, but here in Australia we're still waiting for our SC kits to arrive, despite the fact that it is now two thirds of the way through the season. Our stores have had to cancel and reschedule their SC events and are now just running them without the kits. This of course creates a burden on the stores as they will now have to get the prizes out to the players once the kits turn up (assuming they ever do).

Is anyone else having the same problem or is it just us? The exact same thing occurred last year where none of the stores got their kits until mid February. And before someone says weather or dock strikes, the kits should have been sent out 3.5 months ago if they were to use surface mail. It shouldn't be this delayed.

We haven't got them in NZ yet either, but that is not unusual for us. Our distributor always seems to get them put on a slow boat and are shipped in a container (i.e. only sent once full).

Have you contacted the distributor?

Oh, and ask FFG and Asmodee through Social Media as well, letting them know there is a demand might get more action.

Its going to be fun after Store Champ season is over I will have been to 10 different Armada and X Wing tournaments at 6 different stores. I will then make a day of it driving to each of those store on a Sunday in late April to pick up my prizes from all 6 stores. I'm glad FFG didn't send the kits 3 months ago or I would have to spend time with my wife and kids having a fun that day.

Over here in South East Asia (SEA) we are not getting any Star Wars related SC kits.

SEA as in:

  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Thailand
  • Singapore

None of our countries are getting any kits of any kind for 2016... - Summer, Spring, Store Championships, Regionals and Nationals.... the last was in 2015

We've been forgotten... abandoned...

It's only Star Wars related games that are affected. Other FFG stuffs are normal... :(

First report of a SC kit arrival today...4 days before the last SC in the state...

Now a string of TO organsiers are left with distrubtuing the official prizes won out to the players on top of having to have provided extra prizes to keep the players happy. Not the most user firendly business model...

We were given a three month window by FFG, from January to March, to organise Store Champs and the kits only began shipping to shops on February 29.

For all the good that FFG do with their Organised Play, this has been a real let-down.

I don't care for the reason, or who's fault it was/n't but it can't happen again next year.

Let's hope it has been a valuable learning experience in logistics?!? :)
