New Player Tie/fo style

By Copper24, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hello all, new to the game and list building. I'm curious how the following themed (yes, themed) lists could fare. Hold nothing back, I know you wouldn't on the tabletop

Omega Squadron List
Omega Leader 21
Wired 1
Comm Relay 3
25
Omega Ace 20
Wired 1
Comm Relay 3
24
Omega Pilot 17
Omega Pilot 17
Omega Pilot 17
Omega Total Cost = 100
Zeta Squadron List
Zeta Leader 20
Wired 1
Weapons Guidance 2
23
Zeta Ace 18
Juke 2
Comm Relay 3
23
Zeta Pilot 16
Comm Relay 3
19
Zeta Pilot 16
Comm Relay 3
19
Zeta Pilot 16
Zeta Squadron = 100
Epsilon Squadron List
Epsilon Leader 19
Epsilon Ace 17
Comm Relay 3
20
Epsilon Pilot 15
Epsilon Pilot 15
Epsilon Pilot 15
Epsilon Pilot 15
Epsilon Squadron Total 99

I'm not super familiar with the FO,

But 5 generics with the ept " predator" would be good

Juke is generally the choice for Omega leader, especially with the comm relay, he doesn't have a constant way of generating stress like Zeta leader, unless you plan on doing sloops the whole time, or hanging on to the stress and not doing any actions.

Omega leader does Juke + relay

wired is, at best, a half decent choice for Zeta Leader.

for generic FOs, make room for and be prepared to proxy crackshot (18 point omega). They're pretty jank without it

Juke Relay Omega L (26)

Wired Weapon Guidance Zeta L (23)

two Crackshot Omegas (36)

Epsilon (15) because there are only 100 points to work with

If you are running a completely themes TIE swarm, Omega's are better then Zeta or Epsilon.

Omega Leader is amazing with Juke/Comm Relay

Omega Ace like Push the Limits and Comm relay

Omega Squads can be nice if you can add crackshot

Now, to fit points you could do something lean like:

OL: Juke/Relay

OA: PTL

3x OS

or more tricky but less ships

OL: Juke/Relay/SD

OA: PTL/Relay/SD

2x OS: Crackshot/Relay

Sound like good suggestions to me. I'll give them a play. Thanks

personally recommend the more ships route, it looks like a nice list

at the end of the day, for all its awesome swankiness, the Tie/FO is still just a Tie. You gotta bring a few (unless it's omega leader; he's just good filler anywhere)
