The only time there has been a "silence" on the release was for the Force Awakens Core set. Because people were spoilering pictures of it prior to the Mickey-leaks Disney Mandatory release day.

So the forum moderators were pretty much banhammering anything Poe to FO.

My guess is that the boat is here (US) but either like everyone has said it's taking forever to get through customs, OR since FFG is doing simultaneous global releases now, we're waiting on boats to other places that may or may not have left at the same time...

Frankly, FFG should stop announcing dates altogether. They are never accurate and only serves to annoy people when they are inevitably past projection. Don't update "on the boat" and claim it is "usually 4 to 6 weeks" when it is NEVER 4-6 weeks.

Exactly, I feel the same way. Something that is interesting and I could be wrong but just recently I special ordered a Toyota 4Runner. Production took awhile but the dealer kept me up to date on everything and called me the day it was shipped. From that day to when I received my 4Runner and drove it off the lot was 6 weeks 3 days. Soooooo do cars go through different customs then other shipments? Is it a less rigorous process? Just spitballing here but you would think little plastic toys would get here a lot faster than a freaking car. Just sayin.

4runners are made in three places in the world, two of the plants are in Japan and the third is in Brazil. I could see one assembled in Brazil making it here in six weeks time but not one from Japan. Back on topic, its a shame there isn't a Jumpmaster plant in Brazil.

Interestingly mine actually came from the aichi plant in Japan lol. I swear I'm not making it up either, I went and grabbed my manual today to read it over and the window sticker was in the glove box and as I looked it over at the bottom it said where the final assembly was.

I blame the Mouse and the TFA starter.

no it wont, like someone said in another thread i read about this friggin topic... all its maneuvers are red, so after the 1st turn the captain is assigning it a red stop.

Every time someone complains about wave 8 being late it gets pushed back another week.

At this rate we will have Imperial Veterans and the Assault Gunboat by the time we get wave 8.

You think that in late august somebody called FFG and said "look, we just noticed, we've got this movie coming out in December, think you could do anything with that?"

There were a few models still pending approval in october, either that was because the Ghost had a problem staying up, so they had to redesign the stand (which they had to) so it went late into the approval process, or there were design problems with the models themselves, or it took a long time for the characters to be green lit, we'll probably never know. But I'm quite convinced the delay would be explained there: in the design process.

No, the banks have to be red too or else if you had EU you could white bank and boost all the way to port, and we know for a fact that breaks canon.

Honestly, I'm not even all that interested in the Wave 8 stuff - the Imperial options are not impressive to me. I want the other things I foolishly put in the same order. Hopefully, within the next week or two, things will get moving.

It'd still be nice if FFG would say what the hold up is, though. At this point, I'm convinced they had everything on the boat back in December, then noticed some game breaking error and had to ship it all back to replace the offending bit.

I am seriously disappointed that we made it to Page 3 and no one has pointed out that this says "DETETOR."
