Bump >Dauntless>Boost>PtL>Drop bomb>Receive stress from PtL>Receive stress from Dauntless.
Is that correct sequence?
I assume since they nest within each other im correct but just wanna be sure.

Edited by VitalisYou're correct that they nest, but your sequence of actions doesn't work:
-you probably can't boost when you're bumped in most cases
- PTL > Drop bomb fails because drop bomb is not an action in your action bar and PTL only does actions in your action bar.
But the stack works as you suggest, as long as you choose legal actions to use within it.

A **** i forgot about this PtL restriction:/
And dont know about yours but my boost template easily goes by small ship ![]()
Yeah, I mistook the boost rules; you can boost if your template goes over a ship, but not if it goes over an obstacle. You can't boost if your ship would end overlapping anything though. So that part is OK.
You can always do the actions in the other order, but I'm assuming the original order is preferable. You could do Daredevil/Experimental Interface to get the bomb to drop post-movement but without the EU you risk damage from daredevilling.
Yea plus with hard 1 its too high risk i would not get past even a small ship.
Combo idea was : bump (1dmg from ouicun)+EU from title+proximity mines from PtL (up to 3 dmg) and then vadered+gunnered range 1 shots.
But it just went foobar.
You probably wouldn't do too badly just with Dauntless --- > Boost, as you'll probably arcdodge the poor ship you hit.

You're correct. You could boost due to Dauntless ability, and then you could use PTL to drop a bomb (with Action condition only), next you get 2 stress tokens. If you fly the Decimator with 2-3 Black Sq. Pilots with Wingman, you would be able to clear the stress for the same shenanigans next round.

As noted, no, you couldn't drop the bomb. PTL only allows you to perform actions from your action bar, which dropping bombs is not.

Shhhhh...
That+RAC+Vader+Gunner is a new combo i wanna try
Im having another love with a decimator lately so im trying lots of crazy stuff with that ship;)
I keep reading a mistake in here: You may NOT use PtL to drop a Bomb.
You MAY use the action spent dropping the bomb to trigger PtL. That turns the sequence into:
1. Crash
2. Trigger Dauntless
2.1. Use free action to drop Bomb, Trigger PtL.
2.1.1. Use PtL action to perform maneuver on your upgrade bar. It seems Boost, added via Engine Upgrade, is the choice here.
2.1.2. Gain PtL Stress
2.2. Gain Dauntless Stress
3. Continue play.
While it may be possible boosting over a small ship can be questionable. You hit it straight on with parallel leading edges and you probably should NOT be able to clear it boosting straight because of ship nubs. You may still be able to boost left/right and get over/clear of the small ship but powering over it generally shouldn't work.
That would still be pretty nasty although you take a lot of Stress. Cause a point of damage if you run into someone using Oicunn. Dump a bomb in their face which has a fair chance at catching the small ship when it moves. Then boost which hopefully puts you out of their firing arc but clears you allowing you to blast them with your turret.

I'm actually quite surprised how many times I see this also. Why do so many people think that Push the Limit grants you an unrestricted choice for your free action?

It's a free action from your action bar people!
Now if Experimental Interface could be used the the Boost to Bomb method would work. Of course then you're left wondering "what am I doing with EI?" unless the ship also has another action upgrade. There's also the little problem that EU and EI both want to occupy the same upgrade slot. I guess Daredevil could be used instead of boost.

If you care not for stress:
CRASH
-Dauntless
--Target Lock
--PTL
---Focus
---EI
----Saboteur
-----Palp if needed
---Receive Stress from EI
--Receive Stress from PTL
-Receive Stress from Dauntless
Regret Nothing.

There's one A-wing pilot that doesn't care so much about stress. And a few of the upgrades coming in the Ghost, such as Chopper and Kanan have more ways to mitigate how stress impacts your maneuvers. The game is about to get a lot more stressful!
