Hello! I am entering my first store championship this weekend(fully expecting to learn a lot and not worried about wins/losses).

I have been toying and practicing with this list:

1 • Poe Dameron - T-70 X-wing (31) - R2-D2 (4) - Predator (3)
• Total : 38
2 • Ello Asty - T-70 X-wing (30) - BB-8 (2) - Veteran Instincts (1) - Integrated Astromech (0)
• Total : 33
3 • Outer Rim Smuggler - Millennium Falcon (27) - Millennium Falcon (1)
• Total : 28

So far I am 4 wins 1 loss in practice matches. I have been debating substituting the Smuggler for a T-65 like Garven or Biggs as Ello gets focused down quickly in most games. I would like to keep the 2 T-70's since I am comfortable(as much as I can be having played only 1 month) but would be willing to try something else in place of the smuggler. The options available to me should show in my signature.

Any advice or critiques are most welcome! Thank you for your time!

Edited: 2 more wins in practice games and added R5-P9 + 1 more Integrated Astromech to my collection.

Have you considered taking R5-P9 on Poe and then R2-D2 onto Ello ?

Indeed that is the dream. I don't have R5-P9 unfortunately.

You could try Wedge Antilles, as i tried similar list to yours.

List was:

To fly similar list, you can keep R2-D2, just need to drop R2 on Wedge. Also 1 integrated astro will work too

Here wedge gets focused.

To fly similar list, you can keep R2-D2, just need to drop R2 on Wedge. Also 1 integrated astro will work too

And i find Predator on Wedge very nice, as you get -1 green on enemy, so predator helps to push damage through, but you can keep predator on Poe.

So you get:
