How badly would I get beat taking this list to a tourney?

Ocuinn- Palpatine, Ion Projector

Patrol Leader - Vader, Gunner

Depends on what you face... If you get a lot of Palp/Aces, not to badly because you can Vader away Soontir and beat down Vader. End game if you get behind a shuttle you win.

Lots of Rebel Regen or TLTs can be a bit harder because you don't have a ton of reds to bash through their regen hijinks or kill them before they fire.

Swarms & Rebel 4-Ship lists would also eat those Decimators

Palpatine seems a bit pointless without the benefit of green dice. I'd replace the Vader Deci with a Phantom or something like that.

Palpatine is for Ion Projectors, last week in 2 games my Oicunn+Palpy Ion projector list was able to trap 2 Aces in 2 games for the entire game, the look on both faces when they realised Vader and Poe could no longer do anything except slowly die

I know, but you can't pull that combo every turn with how Ion tokens work.

Edit: it actually is an initiative thing, both Projector and ion clearing happen after the manouver is executed, which means that you need to give your opponent the initiative so the token is removed first.
