Honestly since i learned to fly swarms right PWTs probably didn't need to get wrecked by TLTs this hard, and TLTs kinda put a lot of swarm ships out of business.

I think the problem is turrets in general, not only TLT (before of this we had the omni-present turrets with boost). Autothrusters is a try to fix this, but it only can be equipped in 3 or 4 really competitive ships, letting other ships the same. What I would do is change completely the mecanics for turrets... and also remove Autothrusters from the game.
The mecanic for me would be something like this:
"When defending out of arc of the attacker, you roll 2 more defense dices"
Simple as that and suitable for everyone. This would make every ship more difficult to hit out of arc, and turreted ships would normally select targets in arc if possible.
What do you think?
I'd say it'd sound fine if it wasn't for Autothrusters also existing. Even just adding one die would make that too much, imo.
I wonder how my "Flying Scimitars" list of 4 x Scimitar Pilots w/ Homing, EM, Seismic would do vs. U-boats? I think it would be determined by the first shots. If the Bombers could get in range of just one or two of the U-boats to blast it without getting counter-blasted first, it could work, but otherwise, it would probably go to the U-boats. Well, maybe. Might be able to zip in and drop a bunch of bombs, too. Maybe.
Gamma w/ Homing and no bombs would do better, I think. I still love my bombs, though.
