New IA podcast I saw the other day put on by The IA Team. Love to see new community content so props to FullyOps, JiffK, and Wampa_James! Here's the link to YouTube and I believe they also have a audio version linked on the YouTube page.

Cool! Of course you had to post this after o get to work with no WiFi! I'll definitely be checking this out tonight
At least I posted it though
I watched it yesterday/this morning and it's pretty good. They seem pretty knowledgeable and two of the guys competed in worlds last year which they talk about a little bit on the podcast. Just a clarification though there is a slight mix up on the video about massive figures movement. After a massive figure moves and ends in spaces containing other figures it can no longer move on that same activation.
Thanks for making this guys!!! ![]()
I am a new player, so found it very helpful. I have already came across a Bantha and got absolutely obliterated by it!! the fact it was a 9 point model seems very overwhelming, as you can't ignore it and the rest of the army, you either deal with the Bantha or try and make them go into a bottle neck but, then he can land on his own troops and thus providing himself with a move buff. /sigh.. ![]()
Don't give me any credit I'm not affiliated with them in anyway
But yeah they do a good job I just thought they should get some more viewers.
Very interesting to get insight from such credible sources.. I've always wondered what the credentials were from some of the other podcasts. These guys seem to be the real deal.

What kind of 'credentials' do you find is needed to podcast? And to what degree do you find them missing elsewhere?
Two of the guys placed top 16 at worlds and one of those was top 8. So they definitely have experience with competitive skirmish. And as much as I like the guys from Vader's Finest I don't know anything about their competitive experiences playing skirmish.

I don't think he was saying that they needed credentials just that it's nice to know that they have past experience with the competitive scene.
Yea I never said any were needed, it is all opinion. I will however bend my ear a bit more for someone who is the 8th best player in the world versus someone who say plays casually at their local LGS.
If i was buying a hockey stick I'd want to talk to a player who used it in a game situation over someone who watched a player use it.
Well I suppose I'm at least one of the 80ish best players in the world. ![]()

Idk if that says as much for your ability as it does that the fan base of this game is rather small
. Completely joking I always appreciate you comments on strategy Rogue.
You guys beat us to the punch! Thanks for linking Episode 1 TheUnsullied. Appreciate you spreading the word! ![]()
Yup - all three of us attended Worlds 2015 for IA (amongst other games).
James was running his beloved Scum and as such, top cutting it was always going to be difficult.
Jonathan and I indeed both made top 16, and were BOTH knocked out in close games by the legend that is Mr Paul Heaver. aka "the Brit destroyer"
We're just happy to bring you guys some new, quality content for IA. Especially in the video format - as we've been doing LCG video coverage for a while, we have this side of production down ![]()
Glad you all like the pilot episode.
Feedback is always welcome.
And be sure to subscribe on Youtube and/or Soundcloud, as we bring you more IA content.
