Blue Dot?

By ImDoneItsOver, in General Discussion

I assume it means its the 2nd printing but on my most recent core set buy the cards were in bags with a blue dot on them (the box cover even had a blue dot inside of it) Whats it mean if not 2nd printing?

My Guess:

The dots, blue, red, green, that I have seen throughout FFG product seam like a QC or pre pack system. They confirm a completed subset of the final product pack out or that the sub assembly has been confirm as complete and correct before being moved to the final packaging assembly.

Someone somewhere else once said it was an identifier for the language of the cards. So it might be some sort of identification to get the cards in the correct box. All my recent Star Wars LCG purchases had that blue dot, but none of my AGoT 2e core sets (and the latter were sealed in plastic, not bags).
