found some coin slot pages at hobby lobby for the ship base templates. 20 per page.. makes it much easier to find the base i need. i used to stack them in slots that i had in my battle foam bags but that took up valuable ship space!! Also made it a pita to locate the exact base i needed. just some general info for the masses..lol

I use them too. I get the rigid, thick pages from my local coin & stamp shop. Holds upgrade cards snug- the top row cant be used since the cards overlap and would stick out of my binder. But they hold 32+ cards with sleeves. I love em. 85 cents each. (2inch size).

Those are to small
The discs, if memory serves me, are 4,5x4,5 cm
I use coin slot pages as well for my ship bases works great.
This is a great idea and I'm going to have to explore it.
Just like Tony says...."they're great!"
I did look into doing this for the mini cards years ago but never bothered following through for some reason.
Perhaps I should re-visit this theory.....
Cheers for the reminder Swedge
I use to use these for upgrades and dials, but they started to become too much of a hassle. I went back to boxes for my dials and those nifty new upgrade card pages came in at my FLGS.
They're not horrible...but there are better options.

Are the Little sleeves for the damage deck really worth it?? I used to have covers of my MTG cards back in the day. I noticed FFG makes them for all of there cards? Do people sleeve there Upgrades cards as well???

yes but 3 ring binder sized.. I also keep all my cards in 3 ring binders. BCW makes 16 pocket page with 1 3/4 x 2 5/8 size which are perfect for the upgrade cards.(They were created just for them) I would post pics but this site seems to mot let me.. and ONLY this site its such a pita! perfect for small base http://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Hobbies-Collecting/Coin-Currency-Collecting/Thumb-Cut-Sheets/p/21099
perfect for up grade cards http://www.bcwsupplies.com/new/pro-16-pocket-page-20-ct-pack
now if i could find a page that would hold Big base ship bases!! might try to modify a page and see if that works.. its not really a problem with the deci and falcon as i can store the base UNDER the ship cut out...

Considering that a single spilled soda could take out your deck and you'll have to spend upwards of $40 to replace it... a $2.50 pack of sleeves is well worth it.

I do and most people I've played have as well, again the cost of replacing them is fairly high. I don't sleeve all my cards, just the ones I've used. I don't take the sleeves off, just sleeve them if I pull one out that doesn't have one on it and put it back with the sleeve on it.
I sleeve all the upgrades and damage decks. I hope to have this game for many years, and it does get used, so this seems like a no brainer. The things showing the most wear now are the movement templates, so Applied Perspective is on my Christmas list.
so Applied Perspective is on my Christmas list.
Acrylic templates was the best thing I ever bought for this game. Just make sure and get the range 1 and range 2 ruler along with the standard one. So much easier with those.
I dont sleeve mine. the sleeves make a glare on the card or get crinkled over time. as for protection yeah if you let your cards sit in spilled soda for like a 1/2 hour they may get damaged.. To me the sleeves just are not worth the hassle. as for wear protection the only wear I see is on my movement dials...but hey if you like sleeves use them...
I've been looking into doing binder pages for upgrades and especially ship tokens, as my Plano 1374 is just not quite cutting it for efficient storage anymore and I'm becoming less adamant about trying to keep everything in one box (Epic ships already moved into their own box). In particular I have over 100 ship tokens for imperials alone, and if I could get those out of the box it would leave plenty of space for ships or even some proper padding for the ship compartments.
My main concern is the wear on the binder/pages from sheer weight of hundreds of ship tokens and upgrade cards, and maybe even pilot cards. That's a lot of cardboard.

I cover my dials, both the outer face and the maneuvers themselves, with a ring of contact paper. It takes a little time to do it for a lot of ships at once but each dial just takes a couple minutes to do. I wasn't too worried about it before but one really stiff TIE Advanced dial started showing serious signs of wear after just a few games so I started protecting them all.
or get crinkled over time.
FFG's sleeves are fairly thick and I can't see them ever getting crinkled.
on a related note I have a separate binder for each faction.

I regularly check or local Goodwill stores for zippered binders. They are ridiculously expensive new, but at $2-$3 they are a steal. Way better protection than just a regular binder. Pages and cards can't fall out and get lost. At any point in time I might have 5-6 unused zipper binders just knowing that the next game I get into will use them up real quick.
If you don't know what a zipper binder is, it's this:
I got some of the 20-pocket coin pages and the small ship bases fit great in them. I placed them sideways as they had less of a tendency to slide out that way.
Only two downsides: they're slightly larger than the regular card pages, so they stick out about a quarter of an inch in a regular 3-ring binder, and the thickness of the tiles makes the binder fuller than the number of pages would make you think it should be. But it frees up an entire Plano box for ships now!
has anyone tried the 30-pocket sheets? If my math is correct it seems like they might fit the small bases a bit better than the 20-page sheets, but I don’t know if they would be too snug or not.
