Yesterday one vs one Epic ( Raider and CR 90 ). My opponent ( and friend ) forgot to reinforce the Raider... And first a pair of X and a E wiped out her shields and one Hull. The it was Time for the CR 90. Main Armament 5 Red range 5, nothing. Then.two Single Turbolasers...Raider Crippled. And it was turn.number 2.

His wife came to say hello and bring us something to eat ( fresh vegetables...brrrr ) and she found her man performing the " I am cursed by the Dice Gods " maniac dance. And her reaction....

" You see honey... Big one is not good if you have no idea about how to use it ". Jajajaja.

Ha! Yes, they do take a bit of time to figure out. You need to revive the shields when hit. That is pretty important. Also, you need to screen the big ship well, too. X-wings are fast and hit hard. People underestimate them in Epic games, but they shouldn't. I find it important to protect your epic ships with a fighter screen, even when you are the offensive Raider.

You want to surprise your opponent next time?

Fly a Swarm Tactics Howlrunner, which isn't a strange thing to equip to her.

Then use her to boost the Raider to PS8.

(You could also use Vader, or Decoy, but those arouse suspicion, people don't often use those in combination).
