There isn't. There's also no Falcon in the core set anyway.

You should go look for a custom Falcon card you like. (Although, I will say that the ones I've seen weren't that imaginative.)

No Rey. But I don't think it's a similar decision to what Hasbro did. This is a core set, so all components should be an independent game you can play w/o expansions. If they included Rey you'd have to get a falcon to use the components. That would be against FFG's philosophy.

Well not yet anyways, FFG has only been working on the episode 7 stuff for a small amount of time, and judging from how they named the X-wing pilots, using code names like Red Ace and not using more than 1 named character they probably didn't have all the information going in.... but they release new ships typically at least in a batch a year, it is possible that an upcoming one could have a Rey card in it.

Additionally there are a lot of female pilots in the game. Howelrunner, Ibtisam, Nera, Guri, Echo, Jan Ors, Juno Eclipse, Hera Syndulla, Kath Scarlet, etc. Just to name a few off the top of my head.

It does leave it open for the next wave to have FA large ships, such as new Falcon or the rebel clutchpurse/transport and the FO Assualt Brick/Shuttle or Kylos shuttle, ths allowing crew upgrades such as Finn, Rey Maz and Phasma, Kylo, Hux

Sorry but there is a gender neutral Ace pilot. Quite a few of them though.

We'll probably see Rey eventually. As well as some of the other women in TFA. FFG seems to show no bias when designing pilots and crew for this game, if they find a character they can use, they'll add them.

To be fair, one movie isn't representative enough just yet. Unlike Poe who already started off as an established Ace Pilot I don't think many of the movie characters have had much beyond formal introductions.

I would bet that with the new "rebel aces" II pack we get a new square dish falcon and Rey crew card.. lol

I think that may well come from female action figures not selling as well. Given the cost of each individual licence, it's more the toy companies' fault than LucasFilm. As for not being in X-Wing, that's been covered here.

And maybe until it is more clear which role Rey (and others) in the films to come is playing, to have an ability which fits well with the "film fluff".

I've been using Chewie with PTL and the Falcon Title as an approximation for Rey, I'd say she coped with that "Weapons Failure" crit pretty well in the movie. Still not 100% on using Gunner for Finn but it will do for now

Seeing how Luke handled an X-wing and how Rey handled the Falcon, she's far form "PS3 with no EPT"

We've seen her fly the Falcon in the movie (and quite expertly), I'd say that's enough ground to release her as a pilot. Hell, we can even get a second Han Solo pilot card with a different ability.

Unlike the Nobel empire that endorses equality between the sexes the vile alien lovers treat their women horribly and only let the odd token female pilot if she happens to be an alien.

We have only seen the Scum version of Rey fly the Falcon. Was she even indoctrinated into the Resistance the 45 seconds she was there?

Really it's too soon to expect a Rey card. FFG'S development/release cycle is glacial. They are still working on getting out ships that were announced last July. When they do their first real new-trilogy wave, I strongly suspect we'll see her as a crew card. But... that may be awhile. TFA Didn't really give them much to work with by way of new ship types.

The other issue, as already noted, is that she flies the Falcon. Until/Unless the get around to doing an "Aces" type repaint of the Falcon, they won't have a reason t!o release her as a pilot. I think Episode 8 may precede that.

Still can't wait for the Captain Phasma crew card. I wonder if there'll be an anti-Boba card., too... "if this attack hits, discard this card to force the defender to take on Captain Phasma. At the beginning of the next combat round the defender must remove all shields."

As of today, there has only been one box which had additional pilots for existing Large ships- and that box introduced a whole new faction. I'm not sure how we get Pilot!Dey into the game, but I'm confident FFG a) wants to B) will be able to and c) will do it awesomely.

Apparently Disney told a lot of toy companies that Rey wouldn't sell because Disney Marketing has a 30 year out of date understanding of who buys and plays with toys. Disney Marketing apparently also thought that kids would go nuts for Kylo Ren. Because apparently they thought Kylo Ren was awesome.

My wife flews Chewie and makes the noises as she does. Its a great alt to Rey
