ok, can animal familiars use glyphs, because the rulebook says only heroes can? and if they can does the card "sloth" come into effect by making use a conquest point to go into town?

Familiars cannot use glyphs.

but if famliars can't use glyphs do they still enter the game through glyphs?

So if a hero dies, his familiar stays where it is on the board?

I know that when you start the dungeon, the familiar is on the same square as his hero.

Yep. If you die, go to town, jump in a portal, or do anything else that doesn't involve setting up a new dungeon, the familiar stays where he's at.

The hero comes in through the glyph and then summons his familiar like a non-com pet in WoW. Don't question the logic of Descent, secretly it doesn't exist.
