So....a bit off topic SW Rebels...Twilight of the Apprentice *SPOILERS*

By Tiltowait, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Warning, spoilers may ensue!

So far a speculation thread. Which apprentice, one, some, all? I noticed the title of yet to be aired/released episodes and immediately began thinking. With a title that ominous...and Vader now involved...

Ezra falls?

Kanan dies?

Ahsoka dies/falls? After the raw deal she got in Clone Wars I hope they don't write her off. Plus she was my favorite in the series as really she gave it her all and must have watched everything she loved get destroyed after the series. If she realizes who Vader is...and it seems so by some comments she made...perhaps she tries to get the facts right from him, ignoring the fact that good old Anakin has no qualms slaughtering everyone and anyone to keep them safe (hey that's his logic not mine.)

Speaking of which maybe the title is a spin on Anakin? There's only so far they can go with canon. But there's several years of Vader romping around killing that hasn't been covered and perhaps now this series goes over a bit of it.

Originally I thought the entire crew would die when they would be involved in a critical operation (stealing the death star plans) and essentially the while SW Rebels series was basically Chopper uploading the team's history to while transmitting to the Tantivy IV (Leia's ship) along with the plans...but now with Rogue One that doesn't seem likely.

Thoughts?

You forgot Darth Maul or Old Master.

I'm pretty sure the apprentice in question will be Ahsoka. I can't see them doing anything too drastic to any of the main characters. So I think she will die Fighting Vader, or at least be defeated so badly she is out of the fight due to either physical or psychological damage.

It's too early in the serie, Ahsoka stil needs to be there to act as mentor and help train Kanan and Ezra. Personally i wouldn't mind seeing her live into the movie era, as we need more Jedi there to help Luke wityh his training beforre going to Dagobah. And because it's utterly preposterous that every last one of them is dead. Ahsoka, Kanan and Ezra would be a good way to mek the force side of the rebellion more realistic, and have a group tasked to tackle the inquisition.

But Ezra being tempted or falling to the dark side and having a redemption arc would be a very nice touch. Also would give Luke some reason to believe his hunch about Vader is right, if there is a precedent.
