Hi all,

Just got the Force unleashed box set a few weeks back and have played a few games. Just recently add more fighters for both sides. Been looking at this game for several months and as a big star wars fan finally decided to jump in

Currently have:

T70 Xwing

T65 Xwing

Tie Fighter x2

Tie/Fo Fighter x2

Hi there, you got a bit lost in the shuffle I guess. :D .

Welcome, good choice to get into this game, it's great.

Have you bought single expansions for the TIE Fighters and the X-Wing or have you bought both Core Sets? If you haven't they are an excellent choice. Not only do you get a bunch of ships, you'll also get the extra templates, asteroids and dice which you would want eventually anyway. Most people have bought two core sets really.

There's a topic, sticky, in the main forum. Started by MajorJuggler, it provides links to helpful and interesting topics and other places. I can't recommend that topic enough really.

Welcome to the game! Hope you have fun with it. You should look to see if there are local play groups in your area to see if you can find a group of players. It's also a good way to sucker new players in, as well.

Welcome. You.own enought ships to play, changing factions and named pilots.

I recomend you to download a Squadron Builder App in your cellphone, very helpfull.

After these plays, choose a Faction and start to slowly build. Buy ships you like and proxy the cards needed. And when you feel confortable with the rules, try some scenario play. Good luck

The rebel xwing and imperial eyeballs were individual packs. My LGS does have xwing nights every week. I may be going with the empire since any game played with rebels so far has been losses and I have won all my games with imperials.plus even after 25 years I still think the empire has the coolest looking ships in design and sound effects but that's just my opinion

I would still highly recommend investing in a Base Core Set. The TIE pilots in there, plus the two fighters and the upgrades are boss.

I agree. Or if going Imperial, buy the Tie included in the Basic Set ( 2 ) on Ebay, 20 euros or under. But two Cores means 6 red, 6 green, etc

Yep, you get pilots that aren't in the blisters in both Core sets. You'll want one of each, eventually.

I started off wanting to fly Rebels, but everyone I was getting into the game wanted to fly Rebels, so I started with Tie Fighters. I haven't really played Rebels that much since Wave 1!

You should ask the local store to meet some of the other X-wing players. Maybe there is a Facebook page or Yahoo group or something? Either that or another local store that you might be able to find a weekly night?

Welcome to the game!

You'll find it a *very* helpful and friendly forum and here in off topic it seems to be a hundred or so of the regular board users who chat about all sorts from the inane to the irrelevant to the invaluable

Mostly we talk about old toys and games, often star wars related :)

Hope you stick around, its one of my favourite internet forums as its just really polite, even when people disagree they tend to do it like adults which is handy given the near non existent 'modding' of the board!

How did you get that attachment that list what you currently own of rebels, imperials and scum?

The other core set gets you Luke, Biggs, Artoo and some good tie pilots.

After that start picking out the ships you like.

I built up by expansion order.

It's under settings for your FFG account. I believe it's called SIGNATURE. Then you just have to type it all up. :)

Yep and then you can edit the colours and font etc.

You're only allowed four lines though
