Indeed I was offered, now we'll see how I do...swarm vs swarm, should be interesting.

Ardaedhel (Alamo City Fleet) has offered up Cutter9999's fleet and we (The Vanguard) have countered with Miferr's Indevaris.

So ACFC Det 1 and The Vanguard have established our matchups.

DourPrize's B-wings will feast on the rapidly-regenerating flesh of MoodSwing's dual pickles and token corvette (see what I did there???).

Cutter9999's pile of TIE bombers will face down Miferr's balanced Indy/Yavaris fleet.

And CNinja and I will duke it out Neo-Wave 0 style, with his the VSD carrier fleet against my zombie CR90 swarm.

You shouldn't. I designed a mc30-corvette tr90 swarm before I even had wave 2 in hand, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. You can take credit for the ridiculous bid though.

You shouldn't. I designed a mc30-corvette tr90 swarm before I even had wave 2 in hand, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. You can take credit for the ridiculous bid though.

Agreed. The first time I saw The Clonisher list was when I was taking my CR90B/SW-7 swarm out for a spin on Vassal. I outbid it then, just like I do now. And I very nearly took this swarm list to the World Cup tournament.

Rieekan is looking more and more like my go to commander because of this. The bids are just too out of control for me to even bother making an attempt at first player. Might as well take the opportunity to get better at second player. I'm stuck with Garm and a 9 point bid for the tourney, but I think this might be the last time I do that for a while.

I mean, is it really good for a game to have who goes first be so important? Anyone who ever played IG vs Tau in 40k would probably have the view that a game is better when the order of activations isn't the most important thing in the game.

Anecdotally, the lowest bid I have come across so far was 286 / 400 (133 of Squadrons and 1 carrier) and the lowest I have used is now 365 / 400 (Demolisher etc). Both of these were ludicrous, although the latter would be really good vs another Demolisher list.
