Some years ago when the 501st was a novel idea I called the local (Denver) rep and asked if I could enter my character idea. A guy hired by the Empire to hunt and trap a troublesome runt species that was getting caught in the turbine intakes of Lambda Class shuttles and power generators on one of the moons of Endor. I'd make a fur coat out of multiple kinds of fake fur and carry around meat sticks that I would tell people were Ewok jerky..... He said it wasn't in the spirit of the 501st so I never got around to making the costume. Your comment reminded me of the idea.
