Imperial Kath list.

I will try to feild this list or a small variant of it in the next few days. tell me what you guys see and what would you drop and add.

Kath Scarlet(38), with Calculation(1) (39)

Omega Leader(21) comm relay(3) juke(2) (26)

Zeta leader(20) with wired(1) (21)

Black squadron pilot (14)

thats 100 pts. I like Kath dealing either a crit or a stress, plus, the firespray is a fun ship I like to fly. OL is solid and will deal with opposing Ace while zeta leader provides nice support damage. 14 pts left so I went for black squadron pilot ( dices and blocks)

what do you think ?

If you have it, since you arent running an ept on the black squad, you could replace him with Wampa. He's like an Imperial Biggs almost lol.

Or I might just drop the black squadron to an academy pilot and use the 2 points on Kath.Any suggestion ?

If you get 2 extra points I say drop calculation and add a mangler cannon. Much more likely to crit there. However if you can only squeeze the black to an academy, then a tactician is never a bad choice on a ship with a crew slot.

I don't feel you have enough points to run Kath effectively in this list. She does decently with gunner (more chances to activate her ability) and 'mangler' is nice, but expensive. Predator + gunner is great on her.

I would suggest dropping her for a generic bounty hunter. Recon spec or rebel captive are both good (as is gunner). That would give you a few more points to improve your TIEs. Tactician can also be good.

Some reasonable ideas: add crack shot to your black squad. Add comm relay (or hull) to zeta leader. Upgrade the black squad to another TIE/fo generic to use as a blocker. Add stealth device to omega leader.

I might drop the 3rd generic tie and spend those points to improve Kath and the ties like you said.

Kath with gunner is a great idea since she might even trigger her ability twice in thesame round.

I'm curious to know why you select hull upgrade on zeta over stealth device, while you select stealth device on Omega ?

Omega leader is much harder to hit, thus making the Stealth Device more viable, whereas Zeta is easier to hit, making the hull upgrade a better use of points.
