Why is...the ONE CARD I need the most...is available in a set I have 3 ships from.

Flight Controllers...arguably the most useful card for squadron pushers...is only in one set...and the scalpers on fleebay are flipping it for 10 bucks a card.

Jesus...we need more carrier ships to make this card a wee bit more out there. I mean sure...I might go out and buy another Victory for this card...and sell everything BUT the card...but cmon I feel like the hostage situation for good cards on so/so ships is a wee bit much here.

I mean for what it's worth, this won't be the first or last post wishing upgrade cards could be purchased separately. That's just kind of how the game is, unfortunately.

I sympathize with you, but unfortunately your options are eBay or buy another Victory for the time being. It's possible some future ship will come with Flight Controllers, but holding off on a "maybe something in the future, who knows" is generally a bad plan.

Yeah I think three Victory star destroyers is enough to be perfectly honest....

We're still early into the development cycle of this game. It's likely we'll see another ship bundled with this card.

Totally agree - I bought two core sets, but kick myself I didn't just buy the individual ships in wave 1. Lesson learned for next time. Still don't have the Motti card!!

If you think getting hosed on eBay for an upgrade card is bad, just consider this - if you lose ONE card out of your damage deck, you're buying a $100 starter set to replace it. There is only a single seller on eBay selling the damage decks, and they only have three. The likelihood of having one available when you need it is pretty low.

I didn't realize they were in the Deca club with the XI7s and APTs. That's...kind of awesome.

I think a bigger part of the problem is the silly tournament rules that require you to have multiple copies of this upgrade card in order to use it multiple times.

You should just be able to write a list, or create one in an app, and if anyone queries the use of the card in question then a single physical copy of the card should be produced so that the rules can be referenced, but requiring that players have multiple copies of the card to use it multiple times is silly.

I agree. The thought of paying £15+ for a sheet of card with rules on, that I already have a copy of is preposterous.
