Any Ryloth or Geonosis Modules In WOTC or WEG?

By Robert James Freemantle, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Mild SPOILERS FOR 'Long Arm of the Hutt'

**********

I like to run ready made plotted modules for a while whenever I start a new system. With that in mind:

After my guys finish Escape From Mos Shuuta, I plan to jump on to 'The Long Arm of the Hutt', which of course takes them to Ryloth, then Geonosis. Now, I don't want to assume I can get my players back there easily, and I want them to really get a sense of each planet while there (like good tour guides), so I was wondering if anyone knew of SAGA or West End Games or any other module I could use/adapt for Ryloth and Geonosis while they visit? I don't want to really adapt EOTE stuff for them because it would seem counter intuitive, taking from my pool of future places to visit.

Just thought I'd check because I know a lot of you are veterans of the old systems too.

FYI - After Long Arm, I then plan to run the player created 'Hunter & Hunted' - https://www.dropbox.com/s/dmu66yhee2ybjau/HaH%20Revised.pdf

Because it fits my plans of making Lieutenant Herkin an adversary of growing prominence (someone to grow with the group) - which means I'll be off to Savareen Sector/Rodia afterwards, and the same question then applies there too.

Not to say I'm that much of a veteran, but WEG Starport Guide had a profile on a Ryloth city. And I know there's a WotC book called Geonosis and the Outer Rim or similar.

Most of the old WEG adventures were geared towards Rebel operatives, but there are a handful that might serve your needs:

As Blackbird888 mentioned, Platt's Starport Guide details a starport on Ryloth (Kala'uun). It's got some flavor for Ryloth and some adventure seeds, but no fully fleshed out adventure.

The Shadows of the Empire Planets Guide has a chapter (about 25 pages) devoted to Rodia. It features four adventure outlines and two hooks at the end of the chapter.

You might try to track down a copy of Secrets of the Sisar Run, which is a sourcebook for Black Sun. It doesn't deal directly with any of these locations, but it wouldn't be too hard to fit Black Sun (or an off-brand equivalent) into these seedy Outer Rim systems.

For WotC, I don't think there were any published modules featuring any of the locations you're interested in. Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds profiles both Geonosis and Ryloth, but there's no mention of Rodia. There are no full length adventures, but each planetary profile has a section of adventure hooks.

If you're planning to run your group through any of the material in Lords of Nal Hutta, you may want to see if you can find a couple of web-only adventures WotC released called "Positive ID" and "The Kitonak Connection," which both take place on Nar Shaddaa and could probably be dropped in fairly seamlessly with a little bit of conversion.

Hope this helps you get started.
