I am lining up my next two purchases, as I have found this game to be awesome! I am getting one ship for the rebels and one for the imperials.

Rebels: Should i get the AF MKII or the mc30c? The mc30 has those close dice, but i do not have a medium size ship for the rebels yet.

Imps: Gladiator or another Victory? I have seen some good reviews for the gladiator, but Motti and another VSD would be amazing. Or maybe should I get the fighter expansion????

Just for reference: I have The core set, Rebel fighter expansion, NebB expansion, and the Raider expansion.

I'd probably get the Assault Frigate for the rebs and the fighters for the imps.

Long term you are unlikely to want 2 Vics as the ISD is better.

Gladiator is great but if you are providing both sides when playing with friends then both sides having a choice of fighters seems better.

How could someone not make this their first purchase??? (After the core set of course). I was just so in love with the ISD that I bought the thing directly after the original box itself!!!

Each is good and well thought out. I play mostly rebels so I'll stick to that. The AF2 is a good basic jack of all trades. The M80 has two variants and 3 titles which allows you to create whatever flagship you want to build around. I've played the MC30 most recently and love it. It is mostly a close range ship, but it can run at speed 3 with no problem. This allows you to get in quick and proton torpedoes combined with ordinance experts gets the criticals started quick.

If it helps I currently have 1 MC80, 1 AF2, 2 mc30, and 2 each of Nebs and corvettes. This gives me a lot to work with when playing around with fleet builds
