Is Clontroper5's build invincible?

By Konate, in Star Wars: Armada

"Where did you dig up this old fossil?" This thread is from the beginning of last year!

IMO, Clonisher lists now have massed bomber clouds to face. Demo might eliminate Yavaris, but now it has to worry about all of it's angry children looking for revenge. That, and Scatter flotillas can frustrate ships very well if the flotillas decide to block things. I think it's still powerful, but there are more tools to counter it now.

This CJ again huh...... Guys he lost with it himself at a regional. 1-2 if I remember correctly and that was in wave 2. Also if I remember correctly (could be wrong here) but I don't recall this list even performing particularly well in the last regional season and we want to name it invincible out game breaking..... In the words of Deon sanders "C'Mon man!"

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Points to posts from today that he was responding too

This brings back memories. One of the best parts about the game has been how lists have adapted to new situations, often before a regional season ended.

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

You've been doing that a lot today.

Stomach issues?

Deion Sanders and the Dork Empire comics will do that to me.

Probably my crowning Armada achievement is being one of those 2 losses thanks to Rieekan, H9s and 75 points of Dangerous Territory tokens. Not unbeatable even in its heyday, but probably the most tilting build ever.

Because Ginkapo really should undertake necromancy sometimes.

Take a break and breath guys. Let it settle.

Don't say that, this forum would be nothing without hyperbole and the panic that follows.

Totally this, and I have faith that things that come out will counter the current fear, just like we've gotten plenty of DeMSU counters.

What is the current fear......?

THE END IS NIGH!!

Why can't people talk about the issues they see, and discuss possible solutions and how those would affect the meta, without people telling them to calm down. The forums are meant for Armada discussion and we're discussing Armada. Yeah, it gets old hearing whining, but the threads related to this issue are filled with optimism that FFG will resolve the issue, not doom and gloom.

Looks like you love Rieekan as well Mr. Necromancer.

I am all for discussion. Thats not the tone I am picking up at the moment.

I'm convinced whatever tone-detector you have needs to be calibrated. Go see Imperial Maintenance on Death Star Floor 354, Room 7B. Ask for José.

You're right too. I'm equally wishy washy on the subject. Let everyone discuss.

Youre totally wrong about José. He works on level 382 and is in the ISB.

That's the point.

I also get the same tone as Gink. I quit reading after 2 pages because I couldn't deal with it anymore.

Why can't things just be discussed without immediate calls for change and saying other people are just wrong? It gets old.

People don't take pure anti-squadron because if you aren't paired to a squadron list you die pretty hard; however, if you bring your own Zombie ace list, then you still have a chance against the non squad list... so worlds is not reality of normal play around the country (where colossal failure is ok and fun), just the reality of tournaments where winning is the goal. *shrug*

Not sure I follow.

Winning is the goal for many people every time they play a game - tournament or not.

I know at least one player in our local meta who is now going to bring Rieekan Aces to every casual game meet.
