Exactly like the title says, what's the best way to find a Vassal game? Are there forums or anything?

There are several facebook groups that try to coordinate games amongst members of said groups, but the easiest is just logging in, clicking on the blue '!' symbol and just passively wait for a private message. Or, send out PMs to other people marked with '!', or just create a room with LFG (looking for game).

It's pretty easy nowadays to get a game in, even if you're a newcomer. For one, you're not alone, there's a constant influx of similarly new people coming in all the time. Plus, many people are willing to pay back someone and tutor them in since they themselves have received that kind of help.
