Well it's a good thing your opponent didn't play well and earn the victory or anything

Matt plays good as a standard but in this game it did not have as much of an importance. He could of done a bit better with his squadron commands. He had the advantages in many ways so the fact that I made up my points with just 2 ships is a testament to how the game went.
He does have a gamechanger on his ships in Toryn Far as well. Those Bs are more potent than usual.

Big game on Vassal tonight. . .

Good luck!
Good luck!
Good luck indeed! All those evades will help with neutralizing Rhymer's benefit;
Admonition
is a
bulwark
against squadrons; the Vic should be quite vulnerable to your blacks, which will neuter his squadron-pushing ability as soon as it drops; and you have the speed to charge in and make some **** happen before he can do
too
much against you.
... in theory.

You know... Given that I know nothing about either of you, only what I see on this Online Forum... Where Personas are as fluid as the writing....
... I laughed so hard at that, imagining it for real...

Oh, this is likely exactly what would happen. I don't know Ard but I can tell it is a likely reaction.
As for laughter. . . I am cracking up myself.

HE CARES! HE DEFINITELY CARES!
Dodonna takes the win! It was a 9-1 Victory!
I had uncharacteristically amazing anti squadron fire. Killing all but 5 squadrons.
bleh. . . clon made a point when we were discussing his fleet vs mine. . . it has me worried over a confrontation. . . would this happen?
well the reason player 2 clonisher beats player 1 clonisher is that it gets the first kill. It does this by having the last activation and forcing player 1 to close. Normally in this situation player 1 clonisher jumps a corvette to kill it and regain activation advantage (as it would do against your list) but against raiders it will not be able to kill them without an acc which it is unlikely to get. Then allowing player 2 raider to kill demolisher if it has a double arc or allowing player 2 to Attack player 1s raider leaving them in a one on one exchange until they mutually destroy echother.
This won't happen against you since 1 clonisher out deploys DTO by 1 and 2 your corvettes are not likely to survive the first strike and 3) are less likely to be able to kill my ships in a single activation
Thoughts?

On what part of this, Lyr? Clon vs. Clon (paragraph 1) or Clon vs. DTO (paragraph 2)

He's right.
That said, you can do it. This is the specific advantage the H9's offer to this list, and is the reason I run them on my similar Dodonna MC30 fleet. If you can counter-threaten two Raiders with MC30 side arcs, you have a reasonably good chance to take two of them in one round of shooting if he pulls a first-last and you get an accuracy on both of the shots vs Raiders. You have a fairly good chance of dropping 6 damage on a Raider out those side arcs, particularly with APT + Dodonna to fish for Structural Damage; with a guaranteed accuracy to force it through, that puts you in a good spot.
The trade-off, of course, is TRC on your shrimp. Which is a big sacrifice on the scouts. Which is why I run torps. But at that point we're getting into a different discussion.

I don't like the idea that there is not an option for rebels to counter this list. It makes me question the game balance and I don't like that. Sure Rieekan is an option but that is not balance. That is a single upgrade that you have to build around just to counter a list. . .

I vociferously agree.
I might be able to outplay a clonisher style of list. The only thing I can think of is feeding the Demolisher my Admonition. . . I just don't know what to do after that. . .
Get on vassal, a fair few run it on there. I'd offer to play it against you, but cant imagine i would fly it very well. Would have to be the dual glad version.
