Had a knife edge game of the Break Point scenario. I played Germans. I think they have a tough time in this scenario: fine by me - I like a challenge. I attacked mostly to the right flank of the game board. Germans won but it went to the last round. One squad with officer just got to the hill objective under heavy fire and managed to dislodge an enemy squad. The officer survived to the victorious end and was awarded the Iron Cross! The US MG fire was cam hard and fast. Luckily my tank survived enough mortar fire to soften the enemy up just enough for a last round charge to victory.

TOI is a great game with some tough decision making at all times. strategy cards and Command Points bring and added strategic and resource management challenge to the game which has direct baring to your troops on the ground. All the better with painted figs too! My opponent was new to TOI but a vet gamer. he was impreesed by the depth yet elegant simplicity of the game given the potential for endless unit types in WW2.

Hope for some more supplements. A smallish model upgrade pack would be good something similar in feel to the Talisman expansions would be great.
