As a completionist I have been collecting at least one of each along with my competitive play setups. I inadvertently received an extra M3-A recently and have decided that its use in competitive play is fairly limited. Feel free to dispute that because I would be curious of your thoughts. In any case, pending some great revelation that I am unaware of, I would be willing to offload it for the price of shipping+. Let me know if this is of interest, I ask nothing in return.

Keep it. The dev's have all but said there's a fix coming for both the StarViper and Scyk. You'll regret it if you end up buying more because they suddenly become awesome.

I'd say hang on to it mate.
They can be quite fun to run with the Mango cannon in pairs I find is best.
Just because ship 'X' is not the best competitively now doesn't mean it won't be later down the track.
Look at the Tie Advanced for an eg.....
These guys will make great support ships when tractor beam comes out. Pair 2 or 3 of them with some heavy hitters and watch your enemies drop like flies.

I don't do competitive play but in our circle of friends I often throw a seven M3-A build at folks to unnerve them. Can be very effective against someone who is inexperienced and has only two ships in their build. They just keep coming and can barrel roll out of a lot of problems. I love those little ships. If you want to donate it, who am I to say do not? Buy someday there will be a combo or fix that will be superb.
I sold very cheap my Space Marine Bikers, and one year later they were good. One M3 can wait it's time, it is small. Does not ate too much and can give so much love...

There was an interview (think it was on the S&V podcast) with Alex Davey last year and he said he'd love to give the Aces treatment to the TIE bomber, TIE Defender, T-65, E-Wing, Syck, and Starviper and they all needed a little help. We've had the Bomber and Defender announced so everyone's fairly certain the rest of the list is on it's way via Veterans packs.

The problems with the Scyk and Starviper aren't "too" far off the problems that used to exist for the A-wing and B-wing before got the Aces pack treatment: The A-wing was too expensive for a fragile ship with limited build options and both the A-wing and B-wing desperately needed some better non-unique and ace pilots to make them show up in different lists. We got an upgrade that reduced the point cost on the A-wing (at the cost of missiles) and another upgrade that let us add an extra EPT to boost defensive or offensive capabilities. Both ships got the pilots they needed and the B-wing even got an option for a crew upgrade.
The Scyk is different, but it also is too expensive given how incredibly easy it is to one-shot with a lucky hit from any ship that roles 3 or more attack dice. On that note, it needs something to buff it that doesn't add to the per-ship cost to prevent one-shot-kills from attackers rolling 3 or 4 dice. Both the Scyk and the Starviper need better aces and the Starviper needs a generic pilot with a 4-point cost so it can use the Virago upgrade card. Honestly, the Starviper probably also needs another title card similar to the Virago but that is non-unique so that players can fly multiple Starvipers with title upgrades in a single list.
I totally understand that the Scyk stinks now, but I'm confident it will be something worth putting into many Scum lists once a Scum Aces/Veterans pack shows up.
I love the idea of the M3-A. I own three, but they are somewhat useless outside swarm cannon fodder. One Gold Y-wing with TLT = 25 points. One Cartel Spacer with Heavy Scyk+Shield Upgrade+Cluster Missle = 24. Try to run a small 50 point game with two M-3As against two Y-wings. There is just no contest. I would really love a fix for this cool ship.
