Ok, so recently playing with my brother, he used an Ion cannon on my Decimator. Does the large ship carry the ion token until it receives another, then applies ion effects and removes the tokens?or do they get removed after you maneuver next round?

Ion Tokens are carried until the Ionization effect occurs

• On small ships, the Ionization effect occurs after accumulating 1 Ion Token
• On large ships, the Ionization effect occurs after accumulating 2 Ion Tokens.

OOOOO....i forgot that on large ships ions does not disappear at the end of round...my leebo just became trash:P

Also, once 'ionization' kicks in, all ion tokens are removed. So if a b-wing somehow got 3 ion tokens in one turn, it would shed all of them (and not just one) and become 'ionized'. If that threshold is not reached, the tokens are not removed.
