The following is a list I have been wanting to try for a while. It has a high degree of defensive power whilst also offering decent offensive power. It only uses three squadrons, but they are, IMHO, the pick of the Rebel squadrons and will be commanded by the AF and supported by her as well.

The MC-30 is a very tough nut to crack and the MC-80 offers survival with hitting power that cannot be ignored.

It certainly isn't your standard 'circle and fire' rebel list, more of a close quarter broadside list, but it has the look of being viable.

I test ran a similar list, but used 4 A-wings, it worked well, but the squadrons need a bit more staying power and so this is the next iteration.

Drop the assault frigate down to the B version and expanded hangars can go as well (possibly for boosted comms).

You could then add a Y-Wing or an X-Wing depending on if you took boosted comms and let Han or Dash fend for themselves in the squadron (or Han) phase.

Or you could add Tallon to the AFII to get Dash, Han or possibly Dutch to get a second shot each turn.

Nice thoughts Mad Cat. The AF-A is there to lend it's 2 blue anti-squad to the squadrons and also take shots at ships from another arc.

If testing proves futile, I'll give your suggestions a try.
