I have a group meeting for our first game here soon, and I am having the itch for more Star Wars. I used to RP online, and there are some facebook groups I've found, but the format on Facebook doesn't really seem conducive for good RP. I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I was hoping to find people doing online RPs through this community. If anyone has a link or knows where this might happen, let me know!

I have seen this sort of stuff at roll20.net, at least in part associated with online games that are done through their program.

There's a ton over in the Age of Rebellion forums - which is kind of cluttering up the place. They really need a Play-By- Mail forum around here.

Yeah, a play-by-post forum would be pretty amazing!

Even a sub-forum in each (or even just the "Main" EotE) forum like the GM's Sub would be fine.

Edit: there are a couple of FaD going at the moment, and a few on the AoR forum.

We tried contacting a Web Admin to create one, but we never got a response.

I would recommend going to roleplayinggames.net - you can create a Star Wars board there, or join one already being run. They have a dice roller that supports FFG's system, too.

It's cool to hear that a lot of other people have their eyes out for this sort of thing. It seems like it should be a natural extension of this site, and I was surprised I couldn't find anything. Think there's like a Admin-Mail campaign we could do to get something like this rolling?

And if anybody starts an organized effort to get a sub-section for PbP games I'll support that any way I can. It would be better for the players in the games (I play in two myself) and for others looking for interesting content on the forum.
