Really nice.
What did you use for the crypt dragon bases?
Really nice.

Kitty Litter + PVA Glue and three paint (Black, Wolf Grey and White)
Skarn looks awesome.
You know, not talking about the painting, just the sculptures. In my opinion, the first version dark mages were better. And usually I like the the new sculptures over the old ones.
Absolutely agree, he's one of the my fave lieutenants (so is Mirklace)
The 1E sorcerers looked a bit too much like heroes but a far better model. I've had some shocking model quality in the earlier expansions, not sure if its just bad luck or is it a real production issue.
Also I know there's a thread on it but it feels like the all the Mists minis are a bit larger. I've just finished painting the broodwalkers and about to start the reanimates and they seem to tower over my heroes.

Maybe they are the reanimated skeletons of ogres? what does their bio say?

It's not just the reanimates, the Broodwalkers do too.. odd

How are the bases? If they are the same size it wouldn't seem out of scale, just that some figures are larger than other. But I don't have MoB so I wouldn't know either way.
Broodwalkers! These guys were fun to paint and so much better with a little colour and detail.

Curse my FLGS! On my trip to collect Treaty of Champions, I somehow wound up with discounts on Visions of Dawn and Shadows of Nerekhall.. Soooo many expansions, soooo many figures.
On the flip side, How cool are the Demons!!! (in both monsterness and figurine) Drool!!!
Reanimates
Bone Horror
I don't have time to paint my figurines but **** that foam-core tray looks nice. Currently we're just ghetto-organizing everything in ziplocs. :'(

If it looks stupid but it works, it ain't stupid! Ziplocks 4 life!
Esoteric Order of Gamers got me hooked on foamcore. I've had to do it for most of the games in my collection (especially the FFG). It takes about an hour to an hour and a half (without glue drying time) to get something workable. But to summise Caesarsalad101 "if it ain't broke' - heck my ziplocks are storing all the map pieces in many handy little baggies of 10.

The map tiles are the only thing I am struggling with. I put them in their original boxes so not everything is mixed up, but still. Even when the box only contains the tiles and rules for that particular expansion, it can be quite a pain to build your maps. Some tray that organizes them by number, much like an old archive folder would probably the best. But then the boxes would become obsolete, and I quite like them on my shelf:)

So far, our group keeps popping the tiles back into their cardboard sheets to keep them organized. It takes a little more time but really helps keep them organized.

Some nice paint jobs on the figures. Well done.
