This weekend our local gaming store is holding a cross-faction X-Wing tournament, allowing lists that combine ships from up to two different factions.

Clearly there are a lot of possibilities in ship combinations, and I'm keen to hear your thoughts.

A list I'd considered:

(Jonus gives the Y-Wings rerolls on their TLTs - could be handy against high-AG combos, but I don't know if it's better than 4xTLTs)

I'm actually keen to create a themed list in which enemies fight side by side.

(I'd call this "No Hard Feelings" - not a very effective list, but might be fun )

Without wave 8... R2D6/VI biggs with bodyguard Tansari, Seresu and a stealth device is possible

Some ideas on my head:

Soontir Fel and Crew Kanan will give you the best bromance ever happened in X-wing.

Crew Vader and TLT Miranda will give you potential 2 hit and a crit at the cost of one cheap shield every round.

VI EU Talonbane Cobra with Palpatine Shuttle.

Xizor with regen zombies of your preference.

Predator Kenkirk with C3P0, Ysanne Isard and Flight Instructor

It's worth noting that you can't cross faction upgrades (no Vadar crew on Miranda), and also I believe you're limited to 2 factions, not all 3 (though I could be mistaken on that).

Take top enemy ace down to PS0, make 3 of your ships PS12 or two 12's and two 8's. Polab target locks, then steals a focus. Choose firing order to give Polab the best chance at activating Boba. Jan boosts Polab's Attack for an extra die, on a Crit Boba takes your best upgrade. All before you ever get to shoot.

Haha, I've grown bored with stealing dice, dials, and ships, so I've graduated to intellectual property.

The real question would be do I place FCS on the Blues or Autothrusters on the Starvipers. I often find offense wins games, so I'd try this list with FCS first. I have a feeling that Autothrusters, in the current meta, would end up being the more effective list though.

It's a simple hard hitting list that offers blocking, great jousting ability, and flanking. I'm hoping I'll be able to fly 2 Starvipers and 2 G-1As. (PLEASE let the base G-1As be only 22 or 23 points!!)
