Set up is N'dru loning it on one side to set up a flank with the two Jumpmasters charging up the middle.

Scouts focus then fire torps, letting them use a target lock AND focus AND chimps, making sure it's almost always a 4-hit assurance.

Looks fun, maybe mean. I prefer VI or crack on Suhlak, but you may get longer life with LW.

Was thinking either Crack Shot and Homing Missile (for that extra hard hit), or Lone Wolf and Cluster Missiles (two 4 dice blasts with rerolls, glitterstim and chimps is extra nice in case of low-agility foes)

Man... I love those Jumpmasters! I wonder how strong of a 3rd ship you could possibly fit with them. Suhlak is great, but definitely a one trick ship.

With the Jumpmasters kitted out as they are, a third one would be naked, so Suhlak seems like a good "third wheel" to keep the enemy on his/her toes.

Given that you've got all-but-guaranteed (something like 97% chance) 4 hits without needing the proton torpedo's innate ability, what about plasma torpedoes? Saves you a point and might increase the damage output against a well-shielded target.

That'd save you enough to have a Feedback Array Z-95 watching each scout's backside....

I prefer clusters on N'Dru to anything else; if you can get his ability off you get double value for it with those, and you get to use Lone Wolf twice as well.

When it works out right N'dru with clusters is devastating but a 5 shot homer with crack is much easier to manage and not near as cripplied if you can't pull of lonewolf status.

OP- you could consider dropping the recspecs to upgrade N'dru. The focus isn't necessary with the other mods. N'dru isn't bad, he hits hard once but is definitely the weak link of the 3. This change would allow you to take drea renthal with protons, EM, chimps, turret. A third double ordnance carrier and 3 turrets should have a better shot at cleaning up the mess for the torpedoes.
