Tournament stamina: how can I finish still on my A game?

I'm running the Store Championship in Sioux Falls. One thing I appreciate about the FFG tourney systems is that there is one winner at the end of the day. One person will be on top after elimination. One thing that I don't like is that it takes 6 rounds of swiss and 3-4 rounds of elimination to get there.

I'm really hoping that less than 40 people come so I'm only looking at 7 Rounds. If 45 show up then you need 9 rounds. That jump is particularly aggravating for scheduling... it is the difference between ending at 9pm and midnight.

So if I were you, and I really wanted to get rid of that mid-afternoon crash, I'd cut my morning coffee in half or even eliminate it entirely. You'll feel a bit more tired than you're used to, but getting a couple of good nights' sleep ahead of time will make a huge difference.

Caffeine is physically addictive. I consume seven or eight shots of espresso a day. If I cut that in half, I get (even more) irritable. If I eliminate it, I get a very bad headache.

If you want to give up caffeine -- for God's sake, X-Wing is not worth it, but whatever floats your boat! -- do it gradually over a week or two.

I assume you tried having a meth habit, and decided it was just too healthy and inexpensive for your taste?

Just have higher PS and boost OP. While you're at it, drop a Proton Bomb after you've seen where everything moves AND THEN boost. 59 point Boba, haha.

Do not reproduce during the 3 years that proceed a tournament. A youngling is a sure-fire way to be sleepy.

I recommend a vasectomy. I paid $475 for mine.
