I've just recently gotten into this game, and I've been devouring any information I can find on it. After much deliberation and research, I have what I think will be my go-to build:

1. Dash Rendar

-Lone Wolf

-Heavy Laser Cannon

-Recon Specialist

-Outrider title

2. Corran Horn

-Marksmanship

-Fire Control System

-R2-D2

-Hull Upgrade
