Question. Will the card close the gap allow you to move one space even if it is water or difficult terrain? Or is it granting a movement point? I can see that they could have just said movement point if they wanted that but I just want to make sure we are playing this correct.

It says move up to 1 space.

This means you can ignore extra movement costs from difficult terrain.

if it said gain 1 movement point, you wouldn't be able to move into difficult terrain.
