They can start using Spring kits in April according to my LGS that pre-ordered theirs.

The first day of Spring this year is March 20 (in the Northern Hemisphere). My impression was that we could expect the kits in early April.

So, in other words, early Q2.

I asked, because I thought someone might have a answer to it. Throwing a flippant, unhelpful answer back at me gets the reply it deserves.

The reason it matters is because I do not want to book a venue for an event without knowing if it will be out by then.

With that attitude, I am glad you didn't (and can't) get an answer.

If anything asking when something from FFG will be out and expecting someone to come in and give you a date deserves exactly what you got in my opinion. The answer is "who knows" or "when it is out". They don;t give dates until it is imminent, and even that can be spotty at best. FFG play testers/employees don't even get the dates.

So my advice is to 1) lighten up and 2) schedule the tournament when it makes sense to have it and list the even with the Winter Kit and state that it will be the Spring kit if it is available.
