So, on the first combat round, the commentary says that the right IG-88 was 88B, and erroneously fired with HLC (4 dice) instead of his Mangler Cannon (3 dice). Then the IG-88 on the left fires at the A-wing with 3 dice via Mangler, which according to the commentary should be IG-88C that does not have a Mangler cannon. Are you sure you have that right? Otherwise Jeff messed up both of his ships, which seems unlikely.

The first shot was from the HLC-ship, but actually the main gun. The second shot was Mangler. So no mix-up ... in this game. In the first video, I did literally mix them up (somehow), and neither myself nor Noel (a frequent opponent) caught it. Very embarrassing, and (worse) it actually mattered.

That game turned pretty quickly on the rebels.

At around the 3:00 mark, your first attack rolled [hit hit focus focus], then converted the focus to hits.

All in all it was a great show of Advanced Sensors. On that first combat turn I'm surprised that the A-wing boosted to try and get a block... you have Advanced Sensors! Given that you dialed in 3 segnors on both IGs I think the prototype might have been in perfect position without the boost.

As I watched those opening shots again (from video 1), I think what might have happened was that I was giving serious consideration to firing on Poe, and then when I switched targets, my mind stayed stuck on what I'd expected to roll ... namely, the HLC (4 dice), then the Mangler (3-dice). Note that not only did I mix up both ships -- I do occasionally mix up one, still, but AFAIK, this is the only time I mixed up both -- but then I only rolled 3 dice on the first shot with the Mangler-ship, and it should have been 4.

Anyway, I wish I could say for sure -- it's been a lot of game in the last couple of weeks -- but all I can say for sure is that I felt bad when I saw the video. (FWIW, Noel and I played the re-match at Isle of Gamers, with the same lists, and I won very handily. The opening was even similar, in that I killed the A-wing with my first two shots ... except, you know, legally this time.)

Yes, great video, I would like to see more like this. I had a hard time seeing the tokens on those dice, so it was occasionally difficult to follow the dice modification, though I could usually figure it out. nice job.
