This game and the rule interactions inside of it really are not as complicated as some people like to think that thay are. Whatever unfathomable secret that you believe that you are destined to gift to the FFG forum population, just know that some guy and his neighbor just played with that same combo in a basement last week and left the game unfinished because they saw that American Ninja Warrior was coming on next.

So I've been going over every spoiled card this morning. The only broken combo I can find that involves an old ship is Zuckuss Crew on a YV-666 with K4, so you still get your actions. The only problem is I think he's even better on Dengar. There are all sorts of other combos out there but none of them seem crazy OP or "hidden". Practically all of the ghost's crew on a B-Wing are awesome, but those are all obvious. (Sabine on a Nera Dantels with Cluster Mines seems particularly fun).

Rexlar Brath with TIE/x7 and Juke?

Vessery with TIE/D, Flechette Cannon and Ruthlesness? (Extra dmg twice a turn?)

Trandoshan Slaver w/ Gonk and Experimental Interface? Lots of regenning shields for cheap?

I sent DraconPyrothayan my idea last night to verify that I am only fringe crazy, not solitary confinement nuts. He seems to like something someone sent him. My list will hit a local tournement this weekend, and will be on listjuggler. If sucessful, a store championship in March. No Wave 8 cards required.

I don't live near any of the big events, so I have no problem posting my lists. I also go for oddball, as well.

I also don't see a lot of top tier players running lists that have a killer combo that was some sort of a secret.

Her only roll is to 1 shot a turtled-up Soontir. Most Ties take two-shots. Vader takes 2-3. Poe, normally 3.

I don't know if I would consider a 31 point Serissu "cheap" but it's certainly interesting. I would probably get her killed to quick, lol

I run her as a flanker, and let my opponent's focus stay on the kihraxz and the starviper, preferably the former. It is usually easy as most players look at the M3 and ignore it when Talonbane is in front of them. Some who know Serrisu assume i don't know that i am doing when they see her ability, but have her positioned clear accross the board from my other ships. Requiring only two shots, and shooting first, Serrisu stays pretty safe.

The problem is turrets. I need to keep her away until the kihraxz and the starviper clear them out. If it is a TLT-ace list, I can usually knaw at the ace with the M3 until the coast is clear.

Swarms are a tough match-up as well if there are more than 4 ships on the board.

​She exists purely as an Ace Hunter, and so this is a metagame-dependent list, but her pilot ability is still theoretically available to protect ships that are better in other match-ups...

Like the time I had a really good idea for a juke/comms relay Poe with a Jan Ors crewed Kyle hawk..... Till someone won a SC with it and I was like "crap, now everyone will just think I copied him"

Like when I was talking up Ysanne, rebcap, Predator, EU Chiraneau in October 2014, jump ship to Imperial Assault for a while, and come back to Regionals with everyone running my Chirpy...

Didn't Paul Heaver talk about his worlds list on nova a few weeks before hand? I knew Nathan and jeramys list ahead of time as well.

Oh I'm just messing around. I have a hard time fitting such a fragile ship at that cost into my personal lists but that has more to do with my own preferences.

Personally I've been eyeing up a Moralo list for a GSC if the new ships are released in time. Moralo with HLC and Dengar, 4-LOM and Zuckuss crew. Pair that with Latts Razzi w/ a K4 and season both ships to taste with the rest of your points. With such a wide arc Moralo should be able to get Soontir or various other aces in arc fairly easily. Start triggering all those abilities and you are pretty much guaranteed to push some damage through. I haven't had a chance to play test it yet because I'm not on Vassal but I think it has some potential. I don't remember the rest of the upgrades off the top of my head but I believe I had Mangler and Boba crew on Lazzi and enough room for EU on at least one ship.

I think some people might be mistaking 'bad' and 'overpriced'.

If you have any high agility aces on the board, a PS10 autoblaster shuttle be a high priority, no matter the opportunity cost a player spent putting them on the field.

It's like ignoring a heavily loaded major rhymer - he might cost waaay more than he's worth, but that doesn't mean he can't hurt.
